In the first instance we’d like to get to know the potential brief. This is a free initial chat where we can brainstorm your thoughts and own ideas for getting your project to where you’d like it to be. It’s also an opportunity for us to show you how we’ve helped other clients to achieve their own aspirations and the way in which we go about it.
We return to your property to begin to take a more detailed brief. We may consider how you live your life, what’s important to you, your influences, what you like and dislike, what style of home and features are we working with that need consideration and preservation and a starting point for design cues.
During this site visit of your property we take photographs and measurements of any key areas.
We then begin the creative process and commence the drawing up of floor layouts and any key elevations. At this point we are thoroughly involved in the researching of furnishings and materials which we include, to scale, in these drawings. For some projects we may be working on addressing structural elements, floor finishes, lighting and small power too.
We then invite you to our showroom for a presentation of overall concept moodboards with inspirational images, together with material samples.
Dependant on the project we may then work on the iterative steps of revisions until all is approved.
We work hard to provide the all important detail - intricate plan drawings of every aspect of the design from hidden shower wastage to bespoke cabinetry in order to fully and accurately cost and instruct all workforce teams including (where necessary): electricians, plasterers, joiners, bespoke furniture manufacturers, flooring contractors, home automation and security providers, fireplace fitters, plumbers and tilers, kitchen manufacturers, pools & spa contractors and landscapers, all dependent on the project needs.
Then we set to complete the costing schedule by detailing every element of the furniture, fittings and soft furnishings.
From time of instruction we project manage the various teams as the key point of contact until final installations including artwork and house dressing ready for you to walk in to.
